Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a healing technique that is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has been used for over 3000 years to safely and effectively improve health and allow the body to heal a wide variety of conditions.

Acupuncture uses fine, sterile needles that gently stimulate specific points to facilitate the flow of energy (Qi) and blood throughout the body. The result is an improvement of overall health and well-being by restoring balance to the body’s circulatory and organ systems.

Acupuncture treatments are highly individualized and can address complex health conditions or simple pain relief. An acupuncture session may also include other techniques, such as moxibustion, cupping, heat therapy and, electrical stimulation, to enhance the treatment.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a manipulation of the body's soft tissues (Muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, and lymph) to help reduce pain, stress and tension, encourage circulation in the body and promote overall relaxation, balance, health and wellbeing. Massage has been present in every culture across the world with practices from ancient China, India, Egypt, Rome and Greece influencing modern day practices. Massage sessions are highly individualized based on the clients goals and can employ a wide range of modalities such as thai massage, swedish, deep tissue, cupping, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, myofascial release (MFR), Neuromuscular therapy (NMT), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Craniosacral, and many other movement therapies.
